Certain assets of the
Chicago Fire Brick company were acquired by Allied
Mineral Products Inc. in December 2002. The ability to manufacture
the Chicago Fire Brick product line provides a complete offering of refractories to the aluminum
melting industry through the
Matrix Refractories Division of Allied Mineral Products, Inc.
Matrix Refractories joined Allied as a small manufacturer of
monolithics for aluminum contact applications, but today, after extensive
improvements in the product line, we manufacture and sell products that
are unsurpassed in performance in most applications. We support these
sales with our Research, Application Engineering, and Technical
Services capabilities.
Matrix products are sold worldwide through both direct sales
representatives and dedicated distributors.
